Garden City, NY (PRWEB) February 10, 2015 -- Powering up financial plans and finding ways to inspire the next generation of professional women were the goals of thousands of NAPW members around the country as they gathered at networking meetings to kick off 2015 as a Year of Power. With useful information gleaned from finance experts and practical tips for helping young women navigate the professional world, members and guests started the year off right in a powerful way!
“This year, it’s all about power — leveraging our strengths and gifts to make positive change. It’s an empowering feeling. Loving what we do and inspiring others with our message. So let’s power up 2015 by taking our businesses to new heights as role models for future women entrepreneurs,” says Star Jones, President.
Heeding Ms. Jones’ call to action, NAPW Chapters Presidents from New York to California spearheaded events that featured unique ways to recognize January as Financial Wellness Month and National Mentoring Month.
Louise Newsome, NAPW National Director of Chapters and NYC Chapter President urged members to get involved with their Local Chapter Leadership Teams to help take their Chapters to the next level.
“2015 is our Year of Power,” Ms. Newsome said. “And, it is the year of the power of Local Chapters!”
In NAPW’s Central Region, Local Chapters in Norman, OK and The Woodlands and North Houston, TX, hosted experts whose words of financial wisdom empowered members and guests to plan for their futures.
