Narconon Arrowhead Announces Weekly Graduation Ceremony That Will Acknowledge Individual Sobriety
(PRWEB) December 01, 2013 -- The path from substance addiction to sobriety can be a difficult and often treacherous one. Individuals who seek sobriety may find that the overpowering effects of addiction can make sobriety seem as unreachable as the summit of Mount Everest.
Many individuals can be more successful in their journey towards sobriety by enlisting the help of trained professionals and drug rehabilitation treatment programs. However, even though the individual may willingly walk into the facility and sign up for a treatment program, this is no guarantee that they will be successful or that it will be easy.
Narconon Arrowhead Graduation Ceremonies
When someone is struggling through a difficult time in his or her life, it can be comforting to find out that others have gone through what they are experiencing. It can be very encouraging to hear how others have struggled through similar difficulties, and with persistence have made it out to the other side and found that the hard journey was well worth it. The weekly graduation ceremonies at Narconon Arrowhead are held for exactly this purpose.
Narconon Arrowhead graduation ceremonies will now acknowledge the accomplishments of the program graduates and their individual sobriety. Staff and students mingle together, celebrating not only the graduate’s personal enlightenment and hard-won sobriety, but also the teamwork and support between the program students and the center’s staff.
Full program graduates are definitely a focus at the weekly graduations, but the event host also announces individual course completions and encourages students to come up and speak about the course they have completed. Many of these speakers strongly encourage other students to keep pushing through the difficulties they are facing or will face because the resultant relief and happiness are well worth the effort.
At one recent Narconon Arrowhead graduation, a program graduate who had then trained up to become a staff member shared his “win” of five years of sobriety. Of course, this was met with enthusiastic applause and support. At another recent graduation, one student in the audience asked the event host to share his own personal wins with the Narconon program.
This weekly graduation allows those who are working hard to regain control of their lives and thus attain a stable sobriety to be acknowledged for their efforts. It also allows those who are still mid-program to be acknowledged for milestones they’ve reached and it encourages them share their experiences with other students. Most importantly, it gives hope to current students, proving that success is possible, and support is readily available.
About Narconon Arrowhead
The Narconon program is a holistic drug and alcohol rehabilitation program based on the drug rehabilitation research developed by L. Ron Hubbard. The program works not only to address the physical effects of drug use, but also to help the individual seek for and resolve the causes for drug use, and then to help train the individual in the life skills he or she needs to move forward into a drug-free, productive future.
Narconon Arrowhead is the largest Narconon treatment facility in the world, with room for up to two hundred individuals to participate in a residential rehabilitation program. Located in the hills surrounding Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma, Narconon Arrowhead provides a beautiful and relaxing environment for individuals to recover in.
Staff routine outcome monitoring and other surveys have reported that the majority of Narconon program graduates answer they are drug-free and crime-free from six months to one or more years after program completion. While the vitamin-assisted withdrawal, sauna detox program, counseling and life skills courses are definitely crucial to their students’ success, it is no less vital for program students to experience and witness the support, acknowledgement and celebration of program graduates at the weekly graduation ceremonies. Seeing is believing.
