Nashville School of Massage Therapy Gears Up for Its First Year
(PRWEB) August 22, 2014 -- The Nashville School of Massage Therapy, located in Franklin, TN, is preparing to open its doors for the first quarter of classes on September 8th, 2014. A new institution, founded in 2014, Nashville School of Massage Therapy (NSMT) offers a wide variety of courses in massage therapy, aimed at teaching students therapeutic massage fundamentals and preparing them for successful careers.
Certified as a postsecondary education institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, NSMT offers both full-time and part-time enrollment options, providing opportunities for all types of students. Courses include: Massage Theory and Practice, Anatomy and Physiology, Adult and Pediatric First Aid, Business and Marketing, and Professional Ethics.
Their wide range of course offerings helps to prepare students for all aspects of the massage therapy industry, covering everything from basic massage techniques to the aspects of running your own massage therapy business. The school’s director, Christine Long, explained that NSMT’s mission is simple, saying, “We are dedicated to helping every student succeed with hands-on instruction and a quality curriculum that will prepare them to work in the real world.”
The first session of classes will begin September 8th, 2014 and run until February 6th, 2015, lasting 20 weeks, or 600 class hours, and students must be enrolled two days prior to the start of the session. Total tuition costs and fees are $6,514 for the program, and payment plans are available.
