National Access Cannabis Helps B.C. Residents Access Marijuana Treatments Safely while Avoiding Dangerous Pitfalls in the Existing System
Victoria, B.C. (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- National Access Cannabis (NAC) is offering existing and new medical marijuana users a professional, safe, secure, informative and legal way to access cannabis medicines.
In April, 2014 new federal medical marijuana regulations came into effect, but the MMPR (Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations) left many unanswered questions for Canadians who want to consider marijuana as a treatment option.
Many B.C. residents are obtaining medical documents from unlicensed ad hoc dispensaries without knowing what marijuana strain is right for their condition, where the marijuana comes from, how it may interact with their existing prescription drugs and how to safely and effectively take their cannabis.

NAC offers an annual membership and provides the following services:
- Education: NAC consultants and pharmacists help our members learn about the potential benefits and find the right strains, dosages and the best methods of ingestion.
- Access: Expert consultation and assistance to help get the required medical document. If a member's doctor does not recommend cannabis, NAC can arrange for an NAC Physician to review medical history and perform the required Medical Assessment to find out if cannabis is a good treatment option.
- Pharmacist Consultations: Cannabis is not right for everyone because of interactions with existing prescription drugs. Every NAC Member has an NAC Pharmacist consultation to ensure drug interactions with existing prescriptions are safe. Also, NAC's pharmacy software monitors prescription and cannabis interactions on an ongoing basis.
- Security: NAC gives members a "Medical Marijuana Card" that is supported by law enforcement agencies. The card shows police and others that members are legally registered for medical marijuana.
