National Association of Professional Women Announces Kathryn Coleman, Corporate Clinical Trainer at Pyramid Healthcare, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- NAPW honors Kathryn Coleman, Corporate Clinical Trainer at Pyramid Healthcare, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in Clinical Training. Kathryn Coleman’s skills and areas of expertise include ongoing training, teaching, education and substance abuse counseling for the dedicated staff of outpatient counselors, assessors, behavioral technicians and family counselors at Pyramid Healthcare.
In order to provide quality counseling to upcoming staff, Ms. Coleman has designed an exhaustive training program to ensure that each and every student at Pyramid Healthcare succeeds in their recovery. The program is all inclusive and emphasizes working closely with the client’s home school district to ensure that a smooth transition back to the district is achieved when the client returns home.
All instruction is individualized to facilitate student achievement and they are groomed to participate in standardized testing such as PSSA, PSAT and SATs. Additionally, special needs students receive regular IEP meetings with parents / guardians and teachers. Ms. Coleman is continuing to develop her team of professionals, and is passionate about creating solutions for individuals and families that result in positive growth and a better quality of life. Ms. Coleman is a published author, and has presented at the annual National Conference for Addiction Disorders in St. Louis in August 2014 and at the PA Rehabilitation Counselors and Community Providers Association annual conference in October 2014.
