National Association of Professional Women Announces Leisa D. James, Financial Administrator, Messiah Baptist Church of Grand Rapids, 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

A born leader and a true and distinguished professional, she is continuously developing new processes for improvement to both strengthen her already solid skill set and bolster the efficiency of the organization.
Throughout her career, Ms. James has consistently made outstanding contributions to her employers, including a conceptual idea she presented in which two separate organizations were merged, resulting in a significant decrease in production defects. Among these endeavors, Ms. James considers her current work to be the most fulfilling. “Making a difference in people’s lives is what makes it rewarding: being able to provide programs to assist and teach children and adults to have a better outcome in this life and the next,” she says.
