National Association of Professional Women Hosted Power Networking Event at University of Houston Law Center
HOUSTON, TX (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) hosted a Power Networking Event in partnership with The University of Houston Law Center yesterday, June 14, featuring alumna, TV commentator and host, bestselling author and businesswoman, Star Jones.
The two-hour event focused on the importance of continuing education and provided opportunities to meet successful, professional women in a variety of fields and discuss career strategies.
Jones '86, President of NAPW, is a former New York City prosecutor, TV journalist and one of the original co-hosts of ABC's "The View." Jones is also President of the Professional Diversity Network (NASDAQ: IPDN). NAPW is an exclusive network for professional women to interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other. As a part of the program, Jones conducted one-on-one interviews with Sondra Tennessee, University of Houston Law Center (UHLC), Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Victoria Ai Linh Bryant, Founder and President of Ambassadors Caregivers.
