National Association of Professional Women Inducts Agnes L. Haddad, Owner/Designer at DAMA, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (PRWEB) November 08, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Agnes L. Haddad as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Agnes into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Once a practicing physician, Agnes L. Haddad put aside her medical career when her husband became ill. Once she left her full-time job, she took up a new hobby: jewelry making and designing. To enhance her skills, Ms. Haddad enrolled in the New York Institute of Art and Design where she perfected her jewelry-making skills and designs.
During her training, Mrs. Haddad enjoyed making jewelry for family and friends, including commissioned pieces that were favors for brides, bridesmaids, and at other special occasions. Before she graduated, Mrs. Haddad began establishing her reputation for creating unique, one- of-a-kind pieces. In her designs, she uses pearls as the centerpieces of her elegant and beautiful hand-crafted jewelry.
Earlier this year, Mrs. Haddad launched her jewelry-design business, DAMA, Designed Accessories Made by Agnes, LLC, with the help, support and effort of her children and husband. She sells her collections online, at craft fairs and in her showroom located in Pembroke Pines, FL. “It is our mission to create practical and sophisticated pieces that embody a casual elegance,” it says on Mrs. Haddad’s website.
Now focused 100% on the design and promotion of her jewelry, Mrs. Haddad is currently working on her third collection, a fall/winter line. She is looking forward to expanding her brand and her online presence and hopes to soon begin selling her pieces at home parties. Always one to advocate giving back to those in need, 10% of all proceeds from her sales goes toward diverse charitable organizations.
