National Association of Professional Women Inducts Brittany Mathews, B.S., Senior Epic Specialist, HealthPartners, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Brittany Mathews as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. As a Senior Epic Specialist at HealthPartners, Ms. Mathews specializes in healthcare software and operational implementations, build and workflow design, training program development and system optimization. Her experience has given her insight into how people and tools, when used collectively, can provide expert patient care and improved clinical performance.
“What my life experience has revealed to me is, everyone has a voice and a story. My highest intention is to use my voice to encourage and facilitate a platform for change in the way we provide and pay for healthcare,” said Ms. Mathews. Her hope is for improved, quality patient care and treatment as well as reform for the entire American healthcare system.
Leading an executive project for the integration of two major healthcare organizations is Ms. Mathews’ latest achievement. She is also committed to a project featuring the integration of two Epic systems to clean up cancer treatment protocol and align them fully
with National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. Professionally, Ms. Mathews hopes to continue to learn, grow, develop and increase her sphere of influence.
Ms. Mathews has earned her Bachelor’s in Applied Economics and Marketing from the University of Minnesota and is working toward her Master of Science in Health Informatics from Walden University.
