“I’m pleased to welcome Caroline into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Caroline Carter works in the change management industry, as Founder and Consultant at Starfish Practice, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in professional development and organizational behavior. In a field focused on embracing clients and facilitating them in their organizational goals, Ms. Carter acts as a coach and mentor for her diverse client base. After having worked in multiple environments with decreased production and diminished employee satisfaction, she discovered her passion: improving organizational culture.
“Working in a variety of organizations enduring unnecessary low workforce moral resulting in poor health and a less optimal work experience inspired me to be a part of the solution,” she said.
Noticing the many issues of an uninspired workforce, Ms. Carter was determined to make a change. Her utilization of strengths-based methodologies as well as her vast knowledge in social and emotional competency has made an impact in the professional lives of her clients. She is certified in Appreciative Inquiry and Executive Leadership, along with having credentials in psychology, social work and organizational developments.
Ms. Carter finds the most rewarding part of consulting to be the ability to coach others in leadership roles and improve their workplace culture, despite the fact that it can be a challenging and lengthy process. In the future, she hopes to see Starfish Practice, LLC continue to grow and expand its outreach, spend as much time as she can with her family and continue to serve as a mentor to girls and women alike.
