Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Jessica Vincent as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in a nonprofit organization. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Jessica with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Jessica Vincent is the Co-Founder of 4P Project. The non-government organization serves as a collaborating entity that assists communities in adopting and implementing preventative measures against human trafficking. Ms. Vincent, along with others, is creating solutions for human trafficking through alliances amongst the business community, general public, government and nonprofits.
The immediate goal is to create awareness and educate with the most up-to-date information about human trafficking to include local and worldwide sources. Ms. Vincent is inspired daily by harrowing the stories of trafficking victims and survivors, specifically two encounters during her military service.
Officially launching 4P Project in January 2015, Ms. Vincent is responsible for promoting awareness, collaboration and developing programs for victims for the last two years in Southeastern Arizona. She finds the administrative requirements and securing funding the most challenging portion of her position, but through the services and her knowledge she is able to impact many lives and that makes all the challenges worth it.
“The future of 4P Project is solely dependent on the Co-Founders and a few volunteers,” she said. “I’d like to see it operating independently in the future with extensive community support.”
4P Project, along with several other entities in the area, are hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Conference on October 16, 2015 and speakers include Congresswoman Martha McSally (AZ-R), Sister Susan Kolb, Steve Passement – US Border Patrol PAO and Survivor and Author, Savannah Sanders.
