Ms. Perkins has established an industry-wide reputation among her peers for her expertise in nonprofit management and her ability to break down complex organizational issues, analyze them and creatively develop solutions.
Together with her talented team, Ms. Perkins cultivates strategic plans for her clients based on the firm belief that each client’s mission statement is the organization’s declaration of purpose. She works hand-in-hand with senior staff and board of directors to design uniquely tailored strategies that preserve the integrity of the organization’s mission and address marketplace opportunities.
Before branching out as the entrepreneur of her successful company, Ms. Perkins spent eight rewarding years as Community Programs Director at The Art Institute of Chicago. There, she designed arts education programs and developed strategies and evaluation systems. She also dedicated seven years as a Program Officer for the AFL-CIO, where she worked with labor unions in the Caribbean and Central America. Ms. Perkins was one of the co-authors of Mapping Cultural Participation in Chicago for the University of Chicago Cultural Policy Center.
