National Association of Professional Women Inducts Kandy Lukats, President & CEO of 3GiG, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 09, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kandy Lukats as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Kandy with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “She used her expertise to help build a successful small business enterprise.”
Ms. Lukats is the president and CEO of 3GiG, an integrated technology and services company serving clients in upstream oil and gas. Before venturing into the software technology side of the industry, Ms. Lukats spent the early years of her career in the geology and
exploration consulting sectors of the business. From there, she joined Landmark Graphics and over the course of 10 years, perfected her knowledge of technologies ranging from 3D reservoir modeling, data management, petrophysics, geophysical and geological interpretation, seismic processing and reservoir simulation.
“I was lucky enough to have had great managers who saw something in me and gave me a chance. They continued to educate, guide, influence and inspire me throughout my career there,” said Ms. Lukats.
With the unwavering support of her superiors and her own steadfast ambition to lead her own business, Ms. Lukats joined 3GiG as CEO, where she now helps oil and gas companies manage critical business processes, workflow and collaboration to improve decision making. Ms. Lukats works directly with clients and partners to deliver consulting, application design and training services for the company’s state-of-the-art Prospect Director platform and Smart Process Applications. These technologies allow her to take complex, unstructured business processes and very rapidly translate them into the design, development and deployment of a software application specifically to solve them. With the new solution and toolset provided, her clients can become more efficient, productive, satisfied and successful in their jobs.
“I hope to see 3GiG become a thought and market leader in helping upstream oil and gas companies change the way they work – smarter, more efficient, with simple, elegant information management applications built on our platform,” she said.
