National Association of Professional Women Inducts Kathleen Branch, M.B.A., MSIE, Independent Business Consultant, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 16, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kathleen Branch as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in a variety of organizations. With a track record of exemplary professional achievements, Kathleen Branch was a past National Director of a large multinational organization and has recently downsized her daily responsibilities to a more flexible retirement schedule. After leaving the corporate world, Ms. Branch has focused on consulting and contributing her efforts to a variety of nonprofit causes, primarily and most recently with both the Navy League of the United States and the United States Naval Academy Foundation.
Ms. Branch’s career started in defense with Honeywell Corporation in the materials, purchasing and engineering areas. She progressed through program management and technology with corporations such as FMC, Control Data and Northwest Airlines (now Delta).

Ms. Branch has participated on panels in Washington DC with the FAA concerning structural integrity of aircraft, was a presenter for the International Women in Aviation concerning Engineering and Maintenance and has received many awards from both the airlines and FAA. She has lectured at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, International Association of System Engineering and International Women in Aviation and has also taught Aviation Management at several technical colleges. She also contributes to the United States Naval Academy and the Travis Manion Foundation. Now that Ms. Branch has a flexible schedule, she is consulting in areas of interest and alpine skiing. She is Level 3 Certified with Professional Ski Instructors of America.
