National Association of Professional Women Inducts Linda Brittain-Hodge , Office Manager of State Farm Insurance, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Linda Brittain-Hodge as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in the insurance industry. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Linda into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “She is a great example of how dedication can lead to new pathways to success.”
As Office Manager for Ruth Shannon, State Farm Insurance, Ms. Brittain-Hodge has built a repertoire of exceptional skills and expertise. These include leadership, management, customer service and sales. “Using these skills, I empower and make a difference in peoples’ lives, by training staff how to quote a vehicle, home or lives with life and health insurance,” said Ms. Brittain-Hodge.
Ms. Brittain-Hodge’s mentor was an inspiration and taught her to treat people the way you would like to be treated. This lesson has lasted through her career and has given her a true understanding of what it means to be a helpful, dedicated and hard-working individual.
While working for the Inner City for Voice of Hope Ministries, Ms. Brittain-Hodge achieved her greatest accomplishment by helping under-privileged families be successful in their lives. She was able to connect families with resources to help them gain employment and become financially sound. She is able to continue to help these families stabilize their lives at Ruth Shannon, State Farm Insurance.
For her future goals, Ms. Brittian-Hodge would like to earn her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) license and mortgage license, network and continue to grow professionally. She also hopes to work with the Golden Corridor Republican’s Women in order to speak up for those who have disabilities, including her grandson Zachary, who has Down’s syndrome.
