National Association of Professional Women Inducts Michal Mael, President and CEO of Michal & Company, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. Michal Mael, who was born in Israel, got her start in business at a very young age, having been “brought up” in her mother’s store in Lexington, MA. With a taste for entrepreneurial-style living and retail in her veins, she went on to own a jewelry business. She eventually started the company Rock Our World, which continues to thrive as it now focuses on spreading the messages of Rocks in YOUR World. In addition, in 2010 she created Michal & Company, Inc., a broad spectrum consulting company of arts and stone décor and services for companies and individuals.
Today, Ms. Mael’s company is an “international wholesaler and supplier of decorative rocks, crystals, geodes, rare minerals, fossils and statuary in the United States.” She manages all aspects of the business, from buying and selling to designing and logistics. Her highly sought-after products are used as décor accent pieces in homes and businesses. Ms. Mael also offers an Energy Positioning BlueprintTM program, a consultation with clients about how to create a more productive environment that will help boost “personal health, well-being, love, positive energy, emotional energy, prosperity and more.” In the last years, she also began to speak more at public events to share the significance of adding rocks and their energy to all aspects of the world.
Although she works in an international, male-dominated business, which can be difficult, Ms. Mael has always persevered. “It is challenging to work with all men who are not used to dealing with women and some would not even look me eye-to-eye,” she said. “So to teach and transform the people of the world and all different cultures to be able to trust and learn from each other is wonderful. I love to help the underdogs grow and some have grown from a shack to employing now 60 families. This is what makes it great.”
As for her future goals, Ms. Mael hopes to take on more speaking engagements, “I want to teach others about what the Earth possesses and how to make life easier using nature’s art décor...God’s art,” she added.
