She is the CEO of a large community health center system spanning six counties in southeastern North Carolina. She actively speaks at community civic organizations, churches, college graduations, radio programs, scholarship award banquets and fundraising events and has presented at national healthcare conferences. Earning international recognition for her outstanding work as a service excellence leader in healthcare, received the Healthcare Excellence Founder Award from Custom Learning Healthcare Excellence of Canada. Having served on local, state and national boards, and founded a community college endowment, the Pamela M. Tripp Women in Leadership Scholarship.
