National Association of Professional Women Inducts Shavonde Chase, Independent Distributor at Zija International, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Shavonde Chase is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Ms. Chase is a woman who wears many hats. She is recently retired from the U.S. Army, where she honed her skills in management, training and coaching. Her roles in the armed forces include Ammunition Specialist, Ammunition Section Supervisor/Leader, Orderly Room Supervisor and Equal Opportunity Representative.
Additionally, Ms. Chase has a keen understanding of business and administrative operations and uses these as she takes on a number of successful ventures. She is an Independent Distributor of Zija International, which offers a line of natural health, wellness and beauty products. “Zija’s motto is based on a four-pillar concept that encompasses nutrition, an active lifestyle, financial freedom and personal development, and mirrors the principles that I want to share with the global community,” she said. “My areas of expertise include recruiting, networking and consulting in the health and wellness industry.”
Ms. Chase is also a member of the board of directors for Better Choice of Living, Inc., where she ensures “the organization is following the guidelines of its articles and by-laws” and has been elected Secretary of the organization’s Executive Board. She also volunteers as a Program Manager Assistant at the LEAP Organization where, in addition to handling administrative tasks, she takes on the important role of mentor, tutor and adviser to adolescents. Ms. Chase has been asked to preside over LEAP’s Girl’s Club program.
