National Association of Professional Women Inducts Stacy Engelbrecht, Owner at Cheyenne Feed & Supply, LLC, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Stacy Engelbrecht as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. With more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.
“I’m pleased to recognize Stacy with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
A resident of Cheyenne Wells, CO, for 19 years, Stacy Engelbrecht has deep roots in the community she serves. Cheyenne Feed & Supply is as much a civic commitment as it is an emblem of her business integrity. Born and raised on a small family farm, Mrs. Engelbrecht grew up with all sorts of livestock. In 2002, a business opportunity arose to start a feed store in her small town. Mrs. Engelbrecht, who attended college for marketing and sales, was motivated to take on the challenge of entrepreneurship. Her family run business has now been open for 13 years.
As Owner, she has learned the importance of customer relations and how operating a small business also requires understanding of the financial aspects of cash flow and expenses. “The family and staff’s goal is to continue serving our customers as a small business to the best of our ability so that we can continue doing what we love to do,” she said.
Along with the success of Cheyenne Feed & Supply Mrs. Engelbrecht started Eastern Plains Glass Repair, a company that repairs windshields of pits and small cracks as a service throughout the community and surrounding area. In 2014, she created the instructor and student editions of Sam’s Project: Personal Finance is the Key to your Future. It is a financial simulation project designed to be taught to 6-12 grade students. The book teaches basic personal finance skills, including managing cash flow, recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, creating a budget and preparing an income statement. Recently receiving her copyright certification, Ms. Engelbrecht is now marketing the material for schools and after school programs to teach the importance of personal finance and empowering students for their future.
