National Association of Professional Women Inducts Wendy Wurlitzer, Finance Vice-President of NSCDA-VA, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in finance. Ms. Wurlitzer’s exceptional background in banking includes real estate and consumer and commercial lending in both regional and community bank settings. She has held positions as Assistant Branch Manager at U.S. Bancorp, Chairman of the Board at Citizens Bank of Delavan and Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending at Union Bank & Trust.
In May of 2013, Ms. Wurlitzer took on the role of Finance Vice-President at the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Virginia (NSCDA-VA), a leader in the field of historic preservation, restoration and the interpretation of historic sites. There, she manages the Finance Committee and oversees the planning, monitoring
and evaluation of the organization’s funding and financial management. Using her well-honed skills in finance, analysis, banking, lending and investing, she expertly directs the facility's assets, risks and insurance programs.
In addition to her successful career at NSCDA-VA, Ms. Wurlitzer serves as a Director of the German-American Heritage Foundation of the USA, Treasurer of the Old Dominion Theatre Organ Society, a member of the Byrd Theatre Organ Committee for restoration of the Wurlitzer and At-Large Director of the Theatre Historical Society.
