National Education Week ™ Moves to NYC and Joins EDGE
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- National Education Week, the annual education conference previously in Washington, D.C., has joined NYC-based EDGE, the premier education technology incubator, to create the global meeting point for the education industry. National Education Week -- now by EDGE -- will be held in New York City with NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development from December 15-17, 2015.
Unlike other education conventions and conferences, National Education Week by EDGE will resemble the international phenomenon Art Basel, assembling a highly curated set of education startups and innovators as well as the chance to hear from pioneers on the education frontier. The festival will include “TED” style presentations from luminaries in the field, “Shark Tank” style pitches from cutting edge entrepreneurs, and an “un-conference” where attendees solve real challenges facing universities, education causes, and edtech startups.
Attendees will have the opportunity to demo leading edge products, support cause organizations transforming the globe, and invest in the hottest early-stage edtech companies from around the world.
