Each panelist brings a distinct background to the discussion. During the nation’s celebration of school choice, together, they will spark intellectual firepower that will help America improve equal access to excellent education for all. Panelist, Ashley Jochim, of the Center on Reinventing Public Education said, "In the debate over school choice, the voices of families are rarely heard. I am excited to join this discussion about how schools, districts, and other leaders can ensure all families have access to high quality educational options." Fellow panelist, Vidya Sundaram, VP of Business Insights at GreatSchools, has experience from families’ perspectives: "At GreatSchools, our mission is to help parents get a great education for their children. Over the past 16 years, our K-12 school information, tools, and guidance have helped parents across the country find quality schools that are a good fit for their families' needs. We look forward to sharing what we've learned in this panel discussion during National School Choice Week."
Senior Executive for Corporate Marketing and Business Development at Responsive Education Solutions, Robert “Grif” Griffin said, "One of the first opportunities a school has to demonstrate a culture of serving students and families uniquely and not just as a number among the masses, is during the enrollment process. An easy-to-use, client centric process can help ensure that families experience what an 'individualized' learning environment should look like, inside and outside the classroom. Schools need to aspire to become best of breed examples of how public institutions should serve their communities."
