NationalCrimeTips.org Launches Holiday Fundraiser for the IAFF Charitable Foundation
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- NationalCrimeTips.org, a non-partisan organization providing anonymous crime-reporting hotlines throughout the United States, is pleased to announce a Holiday Fundraiser to raise funds for the IAFF (International Association of Firefighters) Charitable Foundation.
The IAFF Charitable Foundation supports IAFF members and their families in their time of need, promotes fire and burn prevention, advocates for fire fighter health and safety, and provides public education on how to prevent and recover from burn trauma. This holiday season, NationalCrimeTips.org wants to raise more funds for the IAFF Charitable Foundation to assist in their efforts. Every donation for community support that NationalCrimeTips.org receives from now till January 1st will go toward supporting the IAFF Charitable Foundation.
NationalCrimeTips.org takes great pride in supporting law enforcement in their local community. As a charitable organization, NationalCrimeTips.org receives donations from the public to fund police & sheriff tip reports across the country. Part of the donations also goes toward community support efforts to help local programs, like the IAFF Charitable Foundation.
“NationalCrimeTips.org is devoted to helping victims of crimes and accidents in whatever way we can. It’s the public that makes this possible and we are very grateful for every one of them,” said Perry Goldberg, associate officer at NationalCrimeTips.org.
The non-profit organization also aims to raise awareness on crime reporting, especially this holiday season. As more and more people will be out celebrating, shopping, and traveling, they can become easy targets for criminals. Even through the holidays, NationalCrimeTips.org will keep their phone lines open 24/7 to ensure caller tips are received quickly and anonymously before sending it directly to local police & sheriff departments.
To encourage more public participation, NationalCrimeTips.org also offers potential reward money for crime reporting. In the event that a crime, or arson tip, leads to an arrest or conviction, anonymous callers can be awarded up to $1,000.00 for providing the information.
“This reward is sent anonymously using Western Union, and received using a code name, and a paired secret question and answer. We guarantee that the callers remain anonymous all the time, every time,” said Linus Bernal, President of NationalCrimeTips.org.
To remain anonymous and report a crime or arson tip please call the police & sheriff tip reporting hotlines 1-888-9YOUTIP or 1-877-95ARSON.
