Nationally Recognized Healthcare Marketer Dan Dunlop to Share Groundbreaking Social Media Advice at AMA Tampa Bay Event on Sept. 25
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 -- Nationally recognized healthcare marketer, innovator, author, speaker and social media thought-leader Dan Dunlop will present at American Marketing Association (AMA) Tampa Bay’s event on Sept. 25 at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilton St. Petersburg, Carillon Park.
Geared specifically toward healthcare marketers, Dunlop’s presentation - “Healthcare Marketing as Community Building”- will share groundbreaking ideas for how healthcare organizations can engage in conversations and listen to feedback from key constituencies, including patients and physicians. In addition, attendees will learn how to:

• Integrate new media into the physician-relations marketing mix
Dunlop is a firm believer in the power of social media marketing. However, he says few healthcare organizations are harnessing this power to its full potential and instead pushing content at consumers, much like they have always done with traditional advertising vehicles.
“What I am proposing healthcare organizations do is to use these social media platforms to engage individuals, have conversations and listen to feedback from key constituents,” said Dunlop, Principal of Jennings Health. “Doing so will improve population health management by increasing patient engagement in their health – from wellness and prevention to speedy recovery from illness.”
This event is coordinated by AMA Tampa Bay’s Healthcare Shared Interest Group, which focuses exclusively on bringing educational opportunities to healthcare marketers in Tampa Bay.
