Nationwide Car Wraps Manufacturer Comments on Creative Advertising Spots Celebrating the Birth of the Royal Baby

• Coca-cola: Coca-Cola congratulated the Royal couple with an ad saying, “Time for a royal celebration…” with two Coke bottles labeled Will and Kate as part of their #ShareACoke campaign.
• Delta: Delta tweeted a custom graphic that showed the silhouette of a baby playing with Delta planes hanging by strings connected to a mobile saying, “It’s a boy! Welcome, Prince of Cambridge. We can’t wait to show you the world. #RoyalBaby.”
Two additional articles published on July 23, 2013 on AdFreak.com, entitled, “The Sun Celebrates the Royal Baby and Other Famous Infants Who’ll Soon Be Running the World,” and “William and Kate’s Nursery Decorator Screws Up Royally in Carling Ad,” elaborate on different angles used by two different brands to celebrate the birth of the royal baby.
The Sun, a United Kingdom (UK) daily tabloid, and ad agency Grey London created the “Future Rulers” ad depicting the royal baby alongside “some other pretty high-profile ankle biters,” like Harper Beckham, North West, Blue Ivy Carter and Elijah Furnish-John.
Carling, a lager brewed in the UK, created a congratulatory commercial depicting the royal family’s decorator working on the royal baby’s nursery. A butler walks into the pink-painted room with a rewarding Carling for the decorator and has to break the news that the baby is in fact a boy. The ad ends with a congratulatory message to William and Kate.
