Native Roots Tree House Hosts Four-Day, Full Sensory Cannabis Experience During 2016 Winter X Games, Including Cannabis Infused and Paired Dinner
ASPEN, CO (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- Native Roots, Colorado’s most recognized marijuana dispensary, announced a collaboration with electronic music duo Big Gigantic at a private, invitation-only party, held at the 2016 Native Roots Tree House in Aspen, Colorado. The new strain, Cookies and Dream, is the second artist collaboration for Native Roots and a follow-up to GRiZ Kush marijuana, launched in 2015.
To kick off the 2016 Native Roots Tree House, Aspen's leading chef, Chris Lanter of Cache Cache, curated a menu for the exclusive dinner, hosted by Cultivating Spirits on Thursday, January 28th. Chef Lanter created cannabis infused dishes, paired wines by Ben Parsons of The Infinite Money Theorem and Philip Wolf paired each course with the ideal cannabis.
Big Gigantic took the stage for an intimate late night Saturday set at the 2016 Native Roots Tree House, sharing joints of Cookies and Dream cannabis with the private partygoers. The new Cookies and Dream strain is a dreamy cannabis strain that is a harmonious blend of Blue Dream, a favorite strain of lead artists, Dom and Jeremy, and the robustly sweet aroma of Girl Scout Cookies. This sativa strain produces a euphoric body buzz and packs a strong sativa kick that keeps your energy up. Big Gigantic’s blend of electronic beats, saxophone, and live drums left no music genre off-limits, channeling everything from funk and dubstep to house, hip-hop and trap.
The 2016 Native Roots Tree House was a private, invitation-only event with a recognizable guest list of athletes, celebs and cannabis industry elite. Produced and executed by Munch and Company, the cannabis-friendly party was held for four consecutive nights and ran concurrent with the 2016 Aspen Winter X Games, Thursday, January 28, through Sunday, January 31.
ThisSongIsSick curated the musical talent and partygoers were treated to surprise guest appearances by GRiZ on Friday and the dynamic duo of Big Gigantic on Saturday, followed by a late night super jam of Big Gigantic and Jason of Cherub.
