Natural Gas Measurement Personnel Welcome to Attend MEA’s Measurement Excellence Course
Bloomington, Minn. (PRWEB) September 01, 2016 -- MEA’s Measurement Excellence Course provides an overview of the principles of natural gas measurement and is intended as a fundamental and basic instruction in measurement or as prerequisite for some manufacturers hands-on training schools. Field crews and natural gas measurement technicians are invited to attend October 3-6, 2016. New this year, MEA’s Measurement Excellence Course will be held at the MEA Training Center in Bloomington, MN.
Speakers and presenters for the October course come from the following companies: Nelson Technologies, Sensus, Itron, GE Oil & Gas, Elster Gas, Black Hills Corporation, and Vectren. Topics will include:
• Physical properties of natural gas
• Fundamentals of regulators -pilot operated with hands-on
• Fundamentals of turbo meters & tear down - with hands-on
• Measurement with diaphragm meters includes hands-on
• Measurement with rotary meters includes hands-on
• Measurement with turbine meters includes hands-on
• Electronic volume correctors with hands-on
• Overview of meters
