Nature Remo, an IoT device to Make In-wall A/C Units Smart, Fully Funds on Kickstarter, Only Has Five Days Until Funding Ends
(PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- Nature Remo is a simple way to turn any existing, standard in-wall or window-mounted air conditioner into a smart A/C unit. With the explosion of the Internet of Things in recent years, there have been various air conditioner systems that come smart, but rarely does one see a small device that easily makes a standard in-wall unit become more cost effective and intelligent.
Using an iOS-compatible smartphone and the free Nature Remo application, Nature Remo can be remotely turned on from work, the gym, park or even an airplane so one can always come home to a cool house, without wasting money. The Nature Remo mobile app is also able to track the user’s location to automatically turn on or off the air conditioner when someone walks in or out of the room. Additionally, with the app, users are able to see how much money they are spending and saving on air conditioner costs, schedule on/off times for the A/C to run and control multiple A/C units.

Nature Remo’s installation is pain-free. There are no wires to connect and no screws to damage the wall. The way Nature Remo works is simple. The user downloads the mobile application that connects via Wi-Fi to the Nature Remo controller. The tiny square then uses infrared technology to connect to any remote-controlled A/C unit and can be easily controlled from anywhere.
Every Nature Remo controller also comes pre-programmed for use with various units manufactured by companies such as Frigidaire, Honeywell, GE, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Electric, Sharp, Fujitsu, and Panasonic. While the current version of Nature Remo supports only A/C units that use a remote control, in December 2016, Nature, Inc. plans to deliver a device that is able to work with an A/C unit that doesn’t come with a remote. Additionally, Nature Remo will have a mobile app for Android phones available for download soon after the iOS app is released.
