NC Big Game Sport Fishing Tournaments on the Outer Banks Releases New Website for the Marlin Fishing Tournaments in August 2015
Manteo, NC (PRWEB) March 30, 2015 -- Outer Banks Media (OBX Media), a North Carolina-based digital marketing agency specializing in website design, search engine optimization (SEO), internet marketing and online advertising, announces the website launch of Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournaments (PCBT). The website was created to promote and encourage the sport of big game fishing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
“We’re proud to be part of the development of this website for PCBT,” said C.K. Evans, owner of Outer Banks Media. “This non-profit organization dedicates their time and effort planning tournaments to support local and regional foundations through donations, so their new website is a great way to attract more interest,” he added. OBX Media managed the development and SEO of the site, with design by Crash Hot Creative.
Key features of the site include a more engaging user experience and improved navigation. The site's refreshed and simplified look, combined with enhanced content, is optimized for mobile devices, allowing users to access tournament information and register for events on the go. “We love the new design of our website,” said Tournament Director, Heather Maxwell. “As we continue to improve the site, we plan to add a shopping cart, auction page and live webcam so visitors can view portions of the tournament,” she added.
The group hosts two main events each year. This year’s tournaments include:
26th Annual Alice Kelly Memorial Ladies Only Billfish Tournament
August 8 & August 9, 2015
The “Alice Kelly” is one of the most popular lady angler events on the East Coast. This tournament is tons of fun for a meaningful cause. Live music, great food and fishing on the beautiful Outer Banks.
All proceeds benefit the Outer Banks Cancer Support Group
32nd Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament
August 10 – 15, 2015
This tournament is a week to remember! Complete with dock parties, fabulous food, nightly music, the fastest fishing on the circuit and an awards dinner to wrap it all up. An event not to miss!
OBX Media used a Wordpress platform to accommodate the amount of information on the site, including a one-click tournament reservation button and contact form so visitors can sign up for the newsletter, ask a question or request more info about the tournaments.
