NCSF Supports Fitness Careers for Military Men and Women
(PRWEB) January 18, 2016 -- The National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) has long supported US service men and women through special scholarship programs helping qualified personnel cover tuition costs. Now, in addition to tuition assistance, all NCSF certifications are approved through the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) for credentialing fee reimbursement. This allows service men, women, and qualifying beneficiaries the opportunity to utilize their military benefits for new careers in the health and fitness industry.
The organization’s internationally recognized credentials included in the VA approval are the NCCA accredited Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS), and Certified Strength Coach (CSC). These industry leading professional certifications will help transition military skills into fulfilling exercise careers. According to Dr. Brian Biagioli, NCSF Executive Director, “While we cannot thank our troops enough for protecting our freedoms, we can do our part to help them establish prosperous careers following their service. The organization is completely devoted to helping our service men and women achieve success in the fitness industry.”
All NCSF certifications are US Department of Veterans Affairs approved for post-9/11 GI Bill tuition reimbursement. To find out more go to https://www.ncsf.org/military/
