NCV Custom Wine Rooms Opens a Wine Rack Showroom for Clients - First of Its Kind in Houston.

You’ll find options for small spaces, large spaces, ideas for how update your current space, etc. and the choices available for wine racks can be overwhelming. How exactly does one know if they want wood, metals, label forward, label sideways, diamond bins; and more? With the launch of NCV Custom Wine Rooms Showroom, Jost Lunstroth will give their clients the opportunity to see and touch the racks before making the final selection.
“Our new showroom is the first of its kind in Houston. All of the wine rooms designed by NCV in homes or commercial spaces are completely custom and the racks are the most important component. The cost, functionality, and aesthetics of the racks is not trivial and our showroom allows our clients to see the different racking materials and styles in person to make more informed choices,” says Jost Lunstroth, Managing Director of NCV Custom Wine Rooms LLC.

“Years ago, your choices when building a wine storage room were what type of wood and what color stain. Now, we can build that dream wine room using a variety of metals, woods or both. NCV’s focus will always be on proper wine storage that protects the wine, but now we can also maintain our high quality standards with style and personal preference in mind,” said Lunstroth.
After careful research and consideration, NCV decided on five distinct racking systems that they wanted to include in their showroom. Each one was chosen for its high quality and unique design. “We have custom wood racks from Portland, stainless steel cables from Canada, a metal pin system from Colorado, a metal racking system from Belgium and a wood and metal system from Canada. Our showroom highlights these racks as well as other systems that we offer,” said Lunstroth.
To help insure that they are making the most informed choices for their homes, NCV encourages clients to bring their builders, architects and/ or interior designers to help them make the decision. The showroom is in the climate controlled wine storage area at Nos Caves Vin Frostwood location, one of the wine storage facilities founded by Lunstroth.
“As a builder of custom homes in Houston, we will use the NCV Custom Wine Rooms Racking Showroom to show clients the various choices of racks and how they are used to make a Custom Wine Room complete. Clients can see pictures online, but nothing is as good as a showroom where they can see the actual racking,” said Bruce Beeler of Mount Vernon Contractors.
“Working with NVC with their small show room helped make my project go from ordinary to extraordinary. Being able to see the product in a showroom allowed us to appreciate the different types of racks,” remarked local interior designer Janet Gust of the Janet Gust Design Group in Houston.
