Nearshore Executive Alliance Continues to Support Business Council for Peace
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 17, 2014 -- The Nearshore Executive Alliance (NEA), trade association for the nearshore IT/BPO industry, is pleased to announce its continued collaboration with the Business Council for Peace (Bpeace), a New York based non-profit that works with entrepreneurs in conflict-affected countries around the world to help them create sustainable employment.
Through its member companies, the NEA participated for the second time this year in the Bpeace Executive Business Exchange (BEBE) program. BEBE is a corporate entrepreneurship program supported by the U.S. Department of State. In operation since 2002, Bpeace promotes the role of business in peace-building through innovation, leadership diversity, jobs, and global business collaboration.
"It takes confident enterprises to expand markets by boldly sharing knowledge. On behalf of the U.S. Department of State and the people of Central America, we thank the Nearshore Executive Alliance, HITSS and Venture Communications for seeing the potential of the role business can play in reducing violence." said Bpeace CEO Toni Maloney.
NEA member organizations Venture Communications and HITTS each hosted an executive from the El Salvador based company Creativa Consultores. For the visit, each organization developed an in-depth agenda to meet the program’s learning outcomes.
“The BPEACE program through the NEA proved to be a mutually beneficial experience. Valuable insights were learned by sharing best practices done in both countries that we were able to immediately implement in our business,” said Imre Szenttornyay, COO of Venture Communications. “We feel that the collaboration between our teams were very synergistic, and in fact, we walked away with newly formed friendships and discovered opportunities to do business together in the near future. We look forward to hosting another company in the future through this program. ”
Nearshore Executive Alliance joins Bpeace in thanking the participating companies. HITTS and Venture Communications have demonstrated their commitment to advancing the Nearshore Services industry and through their involvement in the program, have taken part in the NEA’s goal of driving sustainable economic, business, social, and human rights growth in the region.
