Nearshore Executive Alliance Kicks off 2014 with Inaugural Immercio Conference
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- The Nearshore Executive Alliance (NEA), trade association for the nearshore IT/BPO industry, will host Immercio Conference 2014 on January 23-24 in Guadalajara, Mexico at the NH Guadalajara hotel. In its inaugural year, this executive event is designed by and for buyers and providers of nearshore IT and business process outsourcing services and will highlight the value, benefits and key opportunities in the nearshore IT and business process industry.
Launched in 2011, the Nearshore Executive Alliance seeks to build, improve, promote and represent the nearshore IT and business process industry. The organization has been focused on improving destinations, promoting thought leadership and enhancing supply best practices and is proud to have buyer, supplier and influencers that are leaders in the industry. Recently the members decided that now was the optimal time to bring people together in person at Immercio. Sponsored by MexicoIT, this unprecedented event will feature a highly interactive agenda with short points of view, two-way Q&A and buzz groups.
“The NEA has already attracted the brightest thought leadership in Nearshoring,” said Mike Barrett, Vice Chairman of the NEA and CEO of Unosquare. “But now, with Immercio kicking off in Guadalajara, those leaders and their best customers will come together in person to debate, challenge, and encourage each other to become even better.”
“With half the attrition rates of some offshore destinations, strong diverse economies, favorable salary costs and over 1 million highly qualified university graduates each year, it would be a mistake not to consider LATAM as a potential location for IT and BPO service delivery”, said Patrick Stamm VP Global Operations and Payment Integrity, Benefit Operation for UnitedHealthcare. “I look forward to learning about the advantages and latest developments in nearshore sourcing options at Immercio 2014.”
Atul Vashistha, Chairman and CEO of Neo Group and Chairman of the NEA, will kick off the event with a discussion on how to build trust to enable deeper sharing of ideas while building mutually beneficial relationships. Other featured speakers include business leaders from Citi, Stewart Information Services Corp, HP, JPMorgan Chase, Softtek, Neoris and CI&T who will cover top-of-mind issues such as innovation, captive centers and public relations strategies.
Attendance to this exclusive conference is limited to 100 participants from all of Latin America. Immercio begins on January 23 with a full day of keynotes and interactive sessions. Day two of the event will be a networking trip to the town of Tequila to discover part of the Mexican tradition. For more information and to register, visit http://www.immercioconference.com.
