Nederman Announces Opening of Office in Mexico
(PRWEB) February 13, 2015 -- Nederman Americas is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office in Mexico City. On February 17th, the office located at 2015 Centro Urbano will officially open. This new location is built upon the success of Nederman MikroPul in Mexico, as well as the existing distribution network in the country.
“The Mexican economy is as strong as any in the Americas. Within three years, Nederman will be a market leader in Mexico and we will use that base for expansion into other Central and South American countries,” said Tom Ballus, VP of Channel Products, Americas. Ballus was in charge of establishing the office in Mexico City.
Responsibility for growing the Mexico office lies with Juan Carlos Sanz Rodriguez who accepted the position of Managing Director effective January 1, 2015. Sanz brings a wealth of Nederman experience and knowledge to the position. Sanz has over 12 years of experience with Nederman including 10 years as Technical Sales Manager in Spain and 2 years as an agent for Nederman in Columbia SA. Prior to Nederman Sanz was employed in the filtration industry for 17 years.
Assisting Sanz in his mission are Christian Bergeyre and Luis Fernando Ramírez Olvera. Bergeyre has accepted the position of Channel Products Salesperson in Mexico, while Ramírez has taken the lead in Configured Solutions.
Bergeyre is tasked with managing the sales and distribution channels within his territory and acquiring, training and maintaining a best-in-class dealer base covering the entire Nederman product portfolio.
Ramírez is heading up the efforts of bringing Nederman’s Configured Solutions to market. He will grow awareness of the Nederman’s engineering solutions and larger products line as well as the Nederman MikroPul solutions.
“Both Christian and Luis’s sales skills and experience will help deliver the dramatic growth we have planned for Mexico,” says Ballus.
Javier de la Mora resigned as General Manager of Nederman MikroPul Mexico effective December 31, 2014. Javier has agreed to a 2 to 3 month transition so he can pass on the knowledge and business contacts he has garnered over the many years he’s headed up Mikropul Mexico.
