For this remodeling project, “The homeowners wanted to maintain the character of their 104 year-old home, while preparing it for the next hundred years,” explains Fitch. An energy retrofit produced 71 percent energy savings in their newly remodeled modern kitchen which features earth-friendly materials, finishes and appliances.

Home #2: Energy Upgrade delivers 81 percent savings for Phinney Ridge Home
“We started with a drafty home and an old oil furnace. And ended with incredible energy savings after making several upgrades,” states Fitch. Homeowners are invited to see how a kitchen makeover produced a stylish kitchen, while also delivering an 81 percent energy savings.
