Neuger Communications Group Receives Two International Awards
Northfield, Minn. (PRWEB) April 16, 2015 -- The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) has recognized Neuger Communications Group, a full-service strategic communications and public relations firm with offices in Northfield and Minneapolis, Minn., with two IABC 2015 Gold Quill awards.
The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation 2014 Annual Report earned Neuger Communications Group a Gold Quill Merit Award in the “Writing” category.
The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation (Wilder) is a nonprofit community organization that helps children, families and older adults in the greater Saint Paul, Minn., and East Metro area of the Twin Cities, through direct service programs, research, leadership development and community building. The goal of the annual report was to express the organization’s current objectives and direction, as well as to share financial information and stories of success. Wilder’s scope of service is very wide, so conveying their complete breadth is vital to its success.
Neuger Communications Group worked closely with team members at Wilder to develop the content of the annual report. The project included interviewing Wilder staff, clients, board members and volunteers as well as developing other content, such as infographics, to create a complete picture of Wilder’s year.
The InnerCity Tennis (ICT) “Raise the Roof – Close the Gap” campaign earned Neuger Communications Group a Gold Quill Merit Award in the “Other Graphic Design” category.
ICT serves 4,000 children and youth each year with tennis, character development and academic programs. Year-round youth programs are largely funded by adult players and members who require quality indoor tennis facilities. When the harsh 2013 winter accelerated ICT’s need to replace its aging tennis domes, the organization needed to quickly advance a major fundraising effort.
Neuger Communications Group developed a campaign theme that tied in ICT’s youth development messages with the tennis domes. “Raise the Roof – Close the Gap!” allowed the campaign committee to tie its dome and facilities funding needs directly to its impact on youth. Materials included an interactive folder that allows the reader to open and “pull” up the tennis domes while pulling up the quality of life for inner city youth as shown in interactive bar graphs. Inside, a square-sized case statement shows programs with lively photos and inserts to describe naming/sponsorship opportunities.
David Neuger, president and CEO of Neuger Communications Group, said, “I’m so pleased to see our clients and our team recognized for this outstanding work. Each of these pieces has been wonderfully successful for our clients and we get the added benefit of a pat on the back from a highly regarded objective, outside evaluator. In addition to these awards being a reflection of our high caliber people, they also reflect the caliber of the clients we work with and we are so pleased to partner with each and every one of them.”
