New App Helps Military and Veteran Communities Save Money While Traveling

Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 19, 2017 -- Today urMuv, a one-stop neighborhood shopping app that helps consumers find their ideal place to live, announced the addition of a new feature to help Military, Veterans, and their families save money. Users can now easily find participating restaurants and lodging with military discounts along the East Coast.

UrMuv has added more than 2,000 restaurant and lodging locations along I-95. While the discounts vary by franchise and other factors, typical discounts range between 5% to 20% with several hotel/motel chains offering discounts based on a per diem rate including hotels like Choice Hotels, Marriott, and restaurants like Burger King and Outback Steakhouse.    

“We have a great community of users and one theme that kept coming up with our users was a simple way to find locations with military discounts.” said Keith Trippie, urMuv Founder. “From Maine to Florida, and from Naval Air Station Brunswick to U.S. Coast Guard District 7, our Military and Veteran community now have an easy button to find military discounts while traveling, PCSing or relocating.”

This new release furthers urMuv’s goal to provide value to the Military and Veteran community throughout their daily life, which now helps users when they are traveling in addition to supporting them while they are relocating.
Over the next couple months, urMuv will rollout a version for Android users, and based on feedback from its user community, add new major highways to their military discount travel feature.
