New at Summit Racing Equipment: Pureflow AirDog II-4G Fuel-Air Separation Systems
Tallmadge, OH (PRWEB) December 04, 2015 -- The Pureflow AirDog® II-4G Fuel-Air Separation System flows 165 gph, enough to support between 500 and 800 horsepower. It also helps smooth out idle and acceleration, improves throttle response, and eliminates hard starting issues.
Removing contaminants in diesel fuel—stuff like air, water vapor, and debris—is a must for improved performance and fuel economy. Removing these contaminants allows pure diesel fuel to enter the combustion chamber through the injectors, providing a full burn with correct injection timing and no spray pattern issues.
The AirDog® II-4G Fuel-Air Separation System does just that. The II-4G design centers on the new dual-feed gerotor pump. It features an intermediate pump shaft that moves the electric motor away from the fuel, eliminating “wet motor” issues that lead to pump failure. The electric motor’s ability to self-align requires less maintenance and improves pump life dramatically. Pureflow also says the pump is the quietest on the market.
The II-4G system comes with adjustable fuel pressure regulator, fuel and water filters, wiring harness, 1/2 inch fuel line with OEM style quick-connect fittings, mounting bracket, and required mounting hardware. The system is available for 2001-15 Chevy/GMC Duramax, 2008-up Ford Powerstroke, and 1994-up Dodge/Ram Cummins trucks.
