New Autobiography Shares The Author’s Experience Surviving World War II, Coming to US
GARDEN CITY, Idaho (PRWEB) July 25, 2017 -- Louise N. Hatcher’s autobiography “My Life During WWII and Beyond” (published by LifeRich Publishing) speaks to a German girl’s experiences surviving World War II before seeking a future in the United States, living life on a farm and building a family.
“The book is written from a child's point of view on World War II, and a teenager’s perspective on immigrating to a new country without any knowledge of that country's language or culture,” Hatcher says.
In “My Life during WWII and Beyond,” Hatcher shares her journey coming from war-torn Nuremberg after World War II to the farmlands of Idaho. She is beset with challenges from her new American culture while she learns English and assimilates to life on the farm. In her new country, she is able to forge a new life of family and faith, becoming a wife and mother as she seeks her own professional and individual ambitions.
“I want my readers to see that when you are faced with adversity and very serious challenges, you can persevere and life can be wonderful,” says Hatcher.
