New AvePoint Online Services Release Enhances Microsoft Office 365 Content and User Lifecycle Management

Site Lifecycle Timeline: Governance Automation Online is the only end-to-end SaaS governance solution that enables organizations to fully manage SharePoint Online site collections and content throughout their lifecycle. In order to enhance this capability, Governance Automation Online now offers the Site Collection Lifecycle Timeline, which allows administrators to preview their configured lifecycle policy settings and follow the sequence of planned governance activities before committing to changes. Business users will also have access to the Lifecycle Timeline from SharePoint Online to provide a clear view of the governance plan on their site content.
Ownership Continuity Enforcement: Governance Automation Online will scan and check for deactivated site collection contact accounts in Microsoft Azure Active Directory on a schedule set by the administrator. If a deactivated primary account is found, an election process begins to identify a suitable replacement. This ensures ownership continuity as employees exit the organization.
Yammer Integration: As organizations adopt Yammer for enterprise social collaboration, there are frequent governance concerns around the proliferation of Yammer groups and content. With Governance Automation Online, organizations can easily embed a Yammer feed onto sites by automating the provisioning process, replacing a multi-step manual process that needs to be done on each site. Now, administrators can drive more effective Yammer use through integration with a governed site collection provisioning process.
