New Black Vault Website Supports a Congressional Hearing Initiative by Paradigm Research Group (PRG)
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 28, 2015 -- The effort by Paradigm Research Group (PRG) to convince the United States Congress to hold the first hearings since 1968 on the extraterrestrial presence issue was enhanced this month when the Black Vault announced it had created a new website to house 129,491 pages from the Project Blue Book, Project Sign and Project Grudge Air Force investigations into the unidentified flying object phenomena. While these studies ended in 1969 and the documents have been available for years, the Black Vault compilation has created a digitized, searchable database. According to PRG executive director Stephen Bassett, "Many of the editors and reporters working today were not even born when the Blue Book investigation was closed in 1969, they mistakenly believed this was a new release of files by the Air Force. As a consequence there was a huge amount of media coverage." See: http://tinyurl.com/lxwxd4w.
On November 4, 2011, the White House issued the following policy statement regarding the phenomena: "The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." See statement here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/response/searching-et-no-evidence-yet
Since the fall of 2011 PRG has conducted a White House petition campaign and a Citizen Hearing on Disclosure to contast for the media and the Congress the accumulated mass of evidence with the White House's statement denying this evidence. The latest petition is at: http://wh.gov/igRrq
The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure was a mock congressional hearing held in the National Press Club from April 29 to May 3, 2013. At that time 42 researchers and military/agency/political witnesses testified for 30 hours over five days before six former members of the U.S. Congress. It was the largest concentration of witnesses and evidence ever assembled in one place and time addressing the extraterrestrial presence issue. See: http://www.citizenhearing.org
Bassett further stated, "While Project Blue Book was closed down in 1969 based upon the highly controversial Condon Report conclusions, these studies in fact presented considerable evidence for the validity of the issue including 701 cases that could not be explained."
Presently PRG is contacting congressional offices in order to secure comprehensive hearings for the scores of military/agency/political witnesses ready to testify under oath regarding events and evidence relevant to the extraterrestrial presence issue.
