New book ‘Little Hinges’ explains Gospels
STUART, Fla. (PRWEB) November 26, 2014 -- Author Lee Merrick says her new book, “Little Hinges” (published by WestBow Press) is the “explanation-in-a-nutshell” of God’s plan for humanity. Merrick presents a positive view of what she calls a “fallen world” and encourages readers to stand tall and hold their heads high as children of God.
“Christ is the center of Christianity, but few people really know Him,” Merrick says. “I would like to introduce more people to Him so they will have something powerful to base their faith upon when their lives turn upside down.”
A heartwarming eye-opener and a fast read, “Little Hinges” is a chronological story of Jesus Christ – a combination of all four Gospels. Rich in the customs and expectations of the first-century Middle East, it carefully explains:
• Who Jesus was,
• Why He came to earth,
• Why He opposed the Jewish religious leaders,
• Why He didn’t reveal His full identity to His disciples at first,
• What caused His own people to turn against Him,
• Why He was crucified,
• Why He is coming back,
• What people should do now, so as not to be “left behind,” and
• Why readers should not worry about the continuing chaos in the world today.
“I want readers to know that we are living in a fallen world for sure, but we don’t have to fall with it,” Merrick says. “God has special plans for His people, and His door is still open.”
