New Book Offers A Tribute To The Author’s Deceased Daughter, Guidebook To Help Mourning Parents
TAURANGA, New Zealand (PRWEB) July 25, 2017 -- Moved by the death of his daughter, Dirk van der Merwe wrote “Riana’s Gift: The Manual for Healing from the Death of a Child or Any Other Traumatic Loss … As Though It Never Happened” (published by Balboa Press AU), which offers a tribute to his deceased daughter, Riana, and is a guidebook based on natural law, on how to be healed from bereavement, trauma and loss “as though, it never happened.”
“(My book), to the best of my knowledge, is the only book of its kind that teaches the ‘bereafian’ how to be healed from their ordeal and how to put their lives together again ... then focusing on the joy of their new life with no recall of the pain from the past,” Van der Merwe says.
Van der Merwe writes that upon hearing their daughter died, he and his late wife, Elsie, had a paranormal experience. He says it felt as though a substance, composition unknown, loosened from the region of the solar plexus, then moved down and felt as if it fell out their bodies – yet nothing of the kind happened – and that filled them with “an indescribable peace and acceptance. Because of this experience, he was compelled to undertake an exhaustive study of bereavement and natural law. “Riana’s Gift” is the result of that investigation; it dissects and rejects standard recommendations for dealing with death and traumatic loss.
The book provides guidelines that encourage people to live on, joyfully celebrating the spirit of the person they love without anguish or guilt. In addition, Van der Merwe writes about how those ideas came to him three months after their daughter’s death. He says it was then they received Riana’s GIFT – Griefs Incubus Finally Totaled – another paranormal experience that “can only be experienced, not explained – similar to a runners or meditation ‘high’ – left us liberated, wiser and free from the past: its pain and sorrow left whilst the lovely memories remained.”
“The GIFT is guaranteed by the same natural law that leaves a new mother joyously exuberant, forgetting the recent anguish and trauma of childbirth, as though it never happened.” Van der Merwe says, “Complete healing with no recall of the event, can’t get any better than that.”
Van der Merwe hopes that his book will bring others peace and allow them to learn to heal from the death of a child just as he and his wife did.
