New Book Proclaims What Every Educator Should Know

“It is now incumbent upon educators to assure that the school is a place where instructors and leaders are held accountable for the effective instruction of students,” Johnson said.

The co-authors of this book are partners, associate partners and fellows in Texas Southern University's Center for Strategic Alliances in Education for School and District Improvement in Houston, Texas. Dr. James A Johnson Jr. received his doctorate from University of California. Wilbert J. Andrews Jr. received his masters of education from Prairie View A&M University and is certified as a principal. Dr. Jay R. Cummings received his doctorate in educational leadership from Ohio State University. Gatsy Moye’-Lavergne received her masters in education from Texas Southern University and is certified as a principal. Margaret Stroud received her doctorate in education from Texas Southern University and now is a guest professor to the university.
