New book sends readers to outer space to escape global warming

When global warming threatens the Earth and causes regional conflicts, the United Nations and the G10 governments decide that it’s time to look elsewhere to live. The goal is to restart human life on another planet, and the U.N. nominates Quantum Future Technologies (QFT) to head the project, called Prime8.

He and his crew have their minds mapped onto androids, and the androids are sent to other planets while the humans remain in a coma-like stasis and are stored in a secure location on Earth. As the world collapses on itself, will these scientists fulfill their mission?
