New Book Shares ‘5 Short Stories’ by Don Bambrick
Byfield, Australia (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- “I am mad,” says Don Bambrick. “My mind wanders, and my stories follow along.”
Inspired by an article about e-books, Bambrick decided to write his own book. He taps into his "madness" — his alternative and unique perspective — to pen “5 Short Stories” (published by Xlibris AU), which shares a small collection of his short stories tackling a wide range of themes. He looks into the subject of life after death in “Charlie, Living Twice.” He then moves to financial intrigue in “Dirty Money.” “Lachlan Campbell” tells a love story drawing heavily on mythic themes. “Abducted” is a comedic, science fiction story presenting his wacky spin to the idea of alien abductions. He again tells a romantic tale in “Old Ralph,” which is a historic tale set against puritan Britain in the time of Charles I.
“Short stories appeal to many,” says Bambrick. Meant for escapism, indulgence and some light-hearted fun, his “5 Short Stories” shares his interesting take on a number of ideas that he hopes would help stir his readers’ imaginations.
