New Book Turns Up the Heat and Romance

WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- With looming deadlines and kids’ soccer games, men and women often lose time for romance and sensuality in their lives. “No matter what connection you have with your lover, you want and have a need to be touched in some way or another by your lover,” writes Rome. “To me, a sensual, intimate connection with your lover is much more amazing, and whether we want to admit it or not, we all strive for that connection.”

Rome’s inspiration for the book came from the encouragement she received from friends. “I wrote a few poems and read them to a friend, and he asked when the book was coming out,” she explains. I didn’t think much of it until I was encouraged to read them at BusBoys and Poets, where I received a very positive reaction from the audience. A couple of people suggested that I take a chance and give writing a book a try.”
