New book, workbook by Karen Budzinski lay foundation for healthy marriages
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (PRWEB) March 20, 2015 -- Author and counselor Karen Budzinski compiles 33 years of marriage counseling experience in her new book “How to Build an Enduring Marriage” and accompanying workbook “How to Build an Enduring Marriage Workbook” (published by WestBow Press).
Budzinski describes her book and workbook as a complete toolkit, providing readers with the methods necessary to build and maintain healthy, loving relationships. The book encourages readers to set new standards for their relationships and let go of preconceived ideas or standards. The workbook supplies couples with practical exercises that help open lines of communication and build trust.
Budzinski challenges couples to identify destructive habits in their marriages and learn to fix those problems with open communication. By reading and the book and doing the exercises in the workbook, Budzinski says, readers will be able to overcome common obstacles in their relationships, including problems with communication, trust and intimacy, among others.
The book and workbook operate in tandem to remind couples of the value of their relationships over all other material possessions. Through these two books, Budzinski aims to inspire a renewed sense of enthusiasm in readers’ relationships.
“Reading the book, and applying the information by doing the workbook, is a journey to study and apply ourselves to live out our priorities,” Budzinski writes. “It is a journey designed to leave excuses behind as we apply ourselves to an extreme relationship workout.”
