New Charitable Organization Partners With Charities To Raise Funding And Awareness
Bergenfield, NJ (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Partnering with different charities on a bi-weekly basis and creating limited edition designs that represent their cause, Feight (http://www.feight.org) is a brand new company that promotes socially conscience consumerism which is excited to announce the launch of their new website. Charity designs are printed on clothing sold on their site, where they then donate $8 of every item sold to the featured charity. Feight then catalogs these charities on a past campaign page (http://www.feight.org/pages/campaign) after their particular campaign ends so people may continue to purchase their designs past the campaigns completion date, and in turn, continue helping the charity raise funding and awareness.
Their most recent campaign, launched March 30th, was with 4 Paws for Ability, a service dog organization which provides service dogs to children with disabilities such as autism, diabetes and kids who have seizures. This successful campaign raised over $700 in donations for the charity and helped spread awareness.
The concept of 'Socially conscious consumerism' is defined as consumers voting with dollars, expressing their passion for the charities they love. Consumers purchase products that encompass a range of social and environmental factors, such as ensuring labor practices are fair or by insuring products are produced by minimizing environmental impacts. This movement really is in line with changing modern consumerism as society knows it.
The newly launched Feight site aims to change the way people purchase in today's society, allowing people to purchase with a social conscious through the Giving Back program. Charities are changed every two weeks, allowing for them to help many worthy organizations in a short amount of time, with each campaign raising awareness of the charity's work. Other charities that have been or will be featured and benefitted are the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, who provide support and stability for returning vets from Iraq and their families and the charity Soles4Souls, which donates clothing, shoes, and jackets to poverty stricken areas of the world that need them the most.
Feight believes everyone can make a difference in this world, starting simply as with just wearing a shirt. By clicking on the 'FREE GIFT' tab on the right side of the screen, site users will be invited to click 'Like' and get 5% off their order. They need only enter the code at checkout. The coupon code is valid for one week only. There is also a way for users to be entered into a give away for a FREE shirt by clicking 'LIKE' on their Facebook page and following the entry instructions. One winner per campaign is chosen.
