New Charity Campaign Inaugurated by Mark Jameson Insurance Agency in Burleson, TX Raises Funds to Help Awareness of Gun Violence Among Children
Burleson, TX (PRWEB) July 24, 2015 -- With agencies in Burleson, Colleyville, Cleburne and Southlake, TX, Mark Jameson Insurance Agency celebrates the beginning of a new charity campaign as part of its ongoing Community Program, now helping to raise funds in support of gun violence awareness and other programs for children. In collaboration with Kevin’s Place, the agency asks those with giving hearts to help support the overall wellbeing and development of local children by joining the agency’s efforts and contributing through the designated donations page at https://www.crowdrise.com/kevinsplaceschoolsupply/fundraiser/cindyarnold1.
Kevin’s Place was founded in honor of Kevin Scott Washington II, who was shot and killed in July of 2012. The organization provides programs to raise awareness of gun violence among local children. It also raises money to help underprivileged kids participate in sports and other youth organizations.
Mark Jameson, the agency’s principal, who has helped touch the lives of many children in the communities where his agencies are located, said, “We want to make sure that all of our community’s young people grow up able to participate in these character-building programs. We feel that making our neighborhoods better and safer one child at a time is a truly worthwhile goal.”
The agency has set a goal of $500, which will help Kevin’s Place to continue their valuable work. To help achieve their goal, the agency’s network of customers, business partners, friends, staff and family are invited to actively participate not only contributing financially, but also by helping to spread the word to others in their circles of influence.
Mark Jameson Insurance Agency continues to employ its own resources to ensure the success of their Community Program. The current campaign is being promoted through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Burleson, Colleyville, Cleburne and Southlake. In fact, Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the current campaign, including all of its details. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.markjamesoninsurance.com/magazine.
The donations page at https://www.crowdrise.com/kevinsplaceschoolsupply/fundraiser/cindyarnold1 is currently active for anyone who wishes to contribute to this worthy cause. The agency will acknowledge all of those who donate a minimum of $5 in their monthly magazine.
Mark Jameson Insurance Agency will continue to work with individuals and nonprofits in the area to identify new worthwhile opportunities to support the community, every 30-90 days. Through the agency’s website, any member of the community may also submit information on known families, persons or groups who could use some help: http://www.markjamesoninsurance.com/Add-Community-Cause_46. Entries are diligently reviewed, and the selected causes are properly contacted by a representative of Mark Jameson Insurance Agency’s Community Program.
